On June 12, 2026, a recruitment event took place at the Panchayat Ghar in Bharmour, organized by the District Employment Office Balu, Chamba. This initiative was led by Security and Intelligence Services India Limited, RTA Hamirpur, aiming to fill 80 positions for Security Guards and Supervisors.

According to Employment Officer Omi Jaryal, a total of 24 candidates attended the interview, with 18 individuals successfully selected. He noted that the recruitment was exclusively for male candidates, requiring a minimum educational qualification of matriculation.

Applicants were required to be aged between 19 and 40 years, with physical standards that included a minimum height of 165 cm and a weight range of 56 to 95 kg.

This recruitment drive is designed to enhance job prospects for local youth in the private sector, while also bolstering the security services workforce.
