NAGROTA

A productive Job Fair took place at the OBC Bhawan in Nagrota, aimed at creating job opportunities for the local youth. This event was conducted under the leadership of Shri R.S. Bali, who serves as the Chairman of the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Board and holds a Cabinet-rank position.

During the fair, HMCE Ludhiana (Hero Cycles) conducted interviews and selected candidates with ITI and diploma qualifications from various fields. In total, 41 individuals were hired, with starting salaries between ₹18,000 and ₹22,000 per month.

A notable aspect of the recruitment was that all selected individuals will be directly employed on the company’s official payroll, providing them with permanent positions and enhanced career opportunities with Hero Cycles.

The organization of the fair was overseen by District Employment Officer Shri Akshay Kumar, as appointed by Shri R.S. Bali. The event was effectively managed by Employment Committee Coordinator Shri Amit Sood, under the Minister's supervision.

This initiative marks a significant advancement in improving employment prospects for the youth, fostering enthusiasm and optimism throughout the area.
