Court Decision on JSSC CGL Exam Results

The Jharkhand High Court has refused to lift the ban on the publication of results for the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level (JSSC CGL) examination held last year.

The bench, comprising Chief Justice Talok Singh Chouhan and Justice Rajesh Shankar, was hearing a petition filed by an individual named Prakash Kumar. The petition claimed that the examination question papers had been leaked, jeopardizing the future of the candidates.

Previously, on December 17 of last year, the court had imposed a stay on the announcement of the results. On Thursday, the bench requested an updated status report from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), which is currently investigating the matter.

The petitioner has also called for a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) inquiry into the case. The next hearing is scheduled for October 15. The examination took place on September 21 and 22, with 304,000 candidates participating.
