Jharkhand Government Launches Email for Feedback on Recruitment Exams
The Jharkhand government has introduced a dedicated email address for candidates to submit feedback on recruitment exams conducted by JPSC and JSSC. New Initiative for Recruitment Exam Improvements
On Saturday, Minister Sudivya Kumar Sonu announced that the Jharkhand government has established a dedicated email address to gather suggestions from candidates and stakeholders regarding the recruitment exams conducted by the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) and the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC). Following a meeting with a delegation of protesting students preparing for these exams in Ranchi, Minister Sonu stated, "We will continue to engage with various student groups and stakeholders. We aim to meet with everyone involved."
Sonu further mentioned that the email address JPSSC.feedback@gmail.com has been created for this purpose. Any student, individual, or concerned party can send their suggestions to this address. The goal is to formulate improvement policies based on collective feedback and make informed decisions. The government will consider the concerns raised through the emails received. He also noted that a delegation from the National Students' Union of India (NSUI) met with them to present their demands and suggestions, which they found to be entirely reasonable. He expressed confidence that when these demands are presented to the Chief Minister, the response will be favorable.
Kumar Raja, the president of the Congress Committee and NSUI representative, stated that they submitted a memorandum after engaging with students to understand their feelings and needs. He emphasized the immediate cancellation of the 14th JPSC exam and called for a thorough investigation of questionable exams by CID or SIT within 90 days. He insisted that the progress of these actions, including arrests and any irregularities uncovered, should be made public. Raja advocated for transparency in the entire examination process of JPSC and JSSC and proposed the establishment of an annual calendar for recruitment exams, similar to the academic calendar. He believes that if the government maintains its own system and sets a precedent, Jharkhand could become the first state to conduct completely fair and transparent examinations successfully.
This initiative comes amid ongoing protests from candidates demanding transparency and structural changes in the recruitment process. The state administration has encouraged candidates and stakeholders to utilize the new email platform to provide constructive suggestions for streamlining the selection process. On Saturday morning, an eight-member student delegation from the 'JPSC-JSSC Aspirants Justice Forum' met with government representatives at the State Guest House in Ranchi to discuss their demands. These students have been protesting since irregularities were revealed in the 14th Civil Services Preliminary Examination conducted by JPSC on July 2.
