He reassured support for residents of Jharkhand abroad and encouraged them to contact the state’s migrant control room for assistance. Call for Action Amidst Gulf Tensions

The Chief Minister of Jharkhand, Hemant Soren, expressed serious concerns regarding the evolving situation in Gulf nations, urging Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take necessary measures to ensure the safe return of Indians stranded there.


Soren reassured that his administration would provide all possible assistance to residents of the state who find themselves in distress abroad. He took to social media platform 'X' to convey his message, stating, "The rapidly changing circumstances in the Gulf region are extremely worrying. I request Prime Minister Narendra Modi and External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar to take necessary actions to bring back any Indian who feels unsafe or trapped in this critical situation."


He also urged migrants from Jharkhand and other parts of India residing in the Gulf to remain vigilant and assured them that India stands with them. Soren added, "I particularly appeal to those from Jharkhand living in Gulf countries to reach out to the Jharkhand state migrant control room helpline number if they encounter any difficulties."
