Chief Guest Announcement for Women's Hockey Final
On Wednesday, Hockey India announced that Hemant Soren, the Chief Minister of Jharkhand, will serve as the Chief Guest for the forthcoming Women's Final of the Hockey India League. Joining him will be Sudivya Kumar, the Minister for Tourism, Arts, Culture, Sports, and Youth Affairs of Jharkhand, as well as Dato Tayyab Ikram, the President of the International Hockey Federation (FIH), who will be the Guests of Honour. Additionally, Kalpana Soren, a Member of the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly (MLA), is set to be the Distinguished Guest for the event, which is scheduled for January 10 at the Marang Gomke Jaipal Singh AstroTurf Hockey Stadium in Ranchi.
The final match will feature SG Pipers and Shrachi Bengal Tigers, both of whom have demonstrated strong performances in attack and defense throughout the season, vying for the prestigious trophy.
