Significant Arrests Made in Gangyal Firing Case

In a notable development regarding the Gangyal firing case, authorities from Jammu Police's South Zone have apprehended four individuals linked to the incident. This action follows the registration of FIR No. 68/2025 under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Arms Act at the Gangyal Police Station.


The suspects have been named as follows:
1. Surinder Singh, son of Jaswant Singh, residing in Dashmesh Nagar.
2. Harjot Singh, also known as Anda, son of Jaswant Singh, from Dashmesh Nagar.
3. Raman Kumar, son of Raj Kumar, living at 92/6 Model Town, Gangyal.
4. Mohd Ashraf, son of Mohd Hussain, from Karyani Talab Narwal, Jammu.


These arrests are the result of diligent efforts by the police team at PS Gangyal, under the vigilant oversight of SSP Jammu, Joginder Singh, SP City South, Ajay Sharma, and SDPO South, Sunil Singh Jasrotia. The suspects were reportedly involved in a criminal conspiracy that resulted in a recent shooting, injuring two individuals.


All four individuals have prior criminal records and are believed to have connections to organized crime in the area. Their capture is a vital step toward revealing the larger network involved in this incident.
