Inspection of Facilities for Pilgrims
Manoj Sinha, the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, recently visited the Baltal base camp located in the Ganderbal district. During his visit, he meticulously assessed the arrangements and preparations made for the annual Amarnath Yatra pilgrims.
Emphasizing the comfort of the pilgrims, Sinha stated that every aspect of the journey, from the registration process to accommodation, and from smooth transportation to the sacred darshan, should be completed without any interruptions or difficulties.
In a post shared on the social media platform X, the Lieutenant Governor informed that he personally inspected all facilities in collaboration with senior officials. He has issued strict directives to all relevant departments to ensure that the convenience of the devotees of Shri Amarnath remains the top priority.
He further mentioned that the Amarnath Shrine Board and all government departments involved in managing this pilgrimage are working diligently. Their collective aim is to make this spiritual journey safe, accessible, and an unforgettable experience for all devotees.
