Condemnation of Violence Against Innocent Lives
On August 4, in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir's Chief Minister Omar Abdullah expressed deep regret over the tragic killing of two migrant workers in Kulgam district. He stated that no religion condones the shedding of innocent blood. Abdullah emphasized the need for security forces to ensure that such incidents do not occur again.
Speaking to reporters, he remarked, “This incident is extremely unfortunate. It should not have happened. No religion permits the killing of innocent people. It deserves the strongest condemnation.” He further added, “Those responsible for maintaining security are expected to prevent such attacks.”
The two migrant laborers from Chhattisgarh were tragically killed during a terrorist attack at a brick kiln on July 31.
