Jaipur Hosts 29th National e-Governance Conference 2026
National e-Governance Conference Kicks Off in Jaipur
The capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur, is set to host the country's largest digital governance event today. The 29th National e-Governance Conference (NCeG 2026) will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma at the Rajasthan International Centre (RIC). This two-day event will take place on July 1 and 2, with the theme "Developed India 2047: AI-Enabled, Data-Driven, and Secure Digital Governance."
Over 2,700 delegates, including more than 200 experts, 1,100 startups, 400 academics, senior administrative officials, policymakers, and industry representatives from across the nation will participate in this conference. The primary goal is to enhance citizen-centric and transparent governance through artificial intelligence (AI), data-driven decision-making, cybersecurity, and digital technologies.
During the inaugural session, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma will officially open the conference, which will also feature the launch of the National e-Governance Exhibition and various new digital services by the Rajasthan government.
The conference will include six plenary sessions and six breakout sessions, covering topics such as AI-based governance, smart policing, secure digital infrastructure, voice-first public services, quantum technology, deep tech, and citizen-centric digital services.
The main objective of the conference is to foster collaboration between central and state governments, industries, startups, and educational institutions, exchange best practices in e-governance, and accelerate the goal of 'Developed India 2047' through modern digital technologies. This national conference in Jaipur is viewed as a significant platform for shaping the future of India's digital governance.
