Jaipur, June 4. The Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) has successfully demolished three illegal colonies established on approximately 10 bighas of private agricultural land in Zone-10. Additionally, around 3 bighas of land in the flood zone of Ramgarh Dam in village Acharol, Zone-13, has been cleared of encroachments.
Inspector General of Police, Kailash Chandra Bishnoi, reported that in the jurisdiction of Zone-10, specifically in the village of Jamardoli on Agra Road, about 5 bighas of private agricultural land was leveled without JDA's approval or land conversion. This area had unauthorized constructions, including roads, boundary walls, and house structures under the name 'Satyam Enclave.' Following a tip-off, the enforcement team, assisted by JCB machinery and laborers, successfully dismantled these illegal structures, thwarting the establishment of a new colony.
Similarly, in the vicinity of Sumel Road in Zone-10, approximately 2 bighas of private agricultural land was also leveled without proper authorization to create roads and boundary walls for a colony named 'Kaushalya Vihar.' The enforcement team acted on information received and demolished these illegal constructions.
In another operation, the JDA enforcement team targeted around 3 bighas of private agricultural land behind Mittal College in Zone-10, where unauthorized roads and constructions were reported. The team, with the help of machinery and laborers, dismantled these illegal structures, preventing the establishment of another unauthorized colony.

The team removed soil and debris that had been illegally dumped on the land, restoring it to its original state.
These operations were conducted under the supervision of the Deputy Controller of Enforcement and the enforcement officers from Zones 10 and 13, with the assistance of available labor guards and technical staff stationed in the zones.
According to the enforcement department of JDA, a total of 557 illegal colonies have been dismantled so far, with 383 in 2024 and 174 in 2025, effectively curbing the attempts to establish unauthorized colonies.
