Government Land Cleared of Encroachments

On June 2, the Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) successfully reclaimed approximately 15 bighas of government land worth ₹45 crores in Bagran village, located near JDA flats in Zone-10. Additionally, encroachments were removed from the 200-foot sector road boundary in Khatwara village within Zone-11.

According to Inspector General of Police Kailash Chandra Vishnoi, local farmers had illegally occupied around 15 bighas of government land in Bagran village, as per Khasra No. 680/1. The encroachments included cement walls and other unauthorized structures.

Upon receiving reports of these illegal constructions, the enforcement team, assisted by JCB machinery and laborers, demolished the encroachments and restored the government land to its rightful status. The reclaimed land is estimated to be valued at ₹45 crores.

Further Actions in Khatwara and Zone-13

In Zone-11, a boundary wall and other structures built illegally along the 200-foot sector road connecting Mahapura Khatwara to Newata were also dismantled. The enforcement team acted on information from the revenue and technical staff of Zone-11.

In Zone-13, near Gudhachak Bassi on the Agra Road Highway, two illegal colonies were completely demolished. These colonies were constructed on approximately 2 bighas of private agricultural land without JDA approval. The enforcement team, with the help of machinery and laborers, successfully thwarted the establishment of these unauthorized colonies.

Similar actions were taken in Eeshwarwala village, where attempts to establish another illegal colony on 4 bighas of private agricultural land were also halted.

Ongoing Enforcement Efforts

These operations were conducted under the supervision of Chief Enforcement Controller Adarsh Chaudhary, with the assistance of various enforcement officers and technical staff from the JDA.

The enforcement cell has reported that in 2024, a total of 817 bighas of government land was reclaimed, and in 2025, 439 bighas have been cleared, totaling 1,256 bighas. Additionally, 551 illegal colonies have been demolished in the same period, effectively preventing further unauthorized developments.
