Ishan Kishan, India's wicketkeeper-batter, highlighted the significance of concentrating on his own performance rather than making comparisons with others or being influenced by outside opinions. "I don't pay much attention to external factors. I understand how I need to play. The key is to remain present in the moment and not dwell on what's happening outside, like who is scoring more runs. Everyone in the team can have their own image. However, as a No. 3 batter, if two wickets fall early, it's crucial to recognize the situation. Should you take risks or focus on building a partnership? Is it easy to score? You must read the wicket and play accordingly," Kishan explained.

Kishan's Heroics Save the Day for India

When India batted first, Kishan came to the crease early after the team found themselves at 29/2 within the first three overs. He played a pivotal role in stabilizing the innings, forming a 66-run partnership with captain Shreyas Iyer (25) and later adding a crucial 94-run partnership with Tilak Varma, helping India reach a strong total of 219/5 in 20 overs. Kishan's explosive innings of 81 runs off just 44 balls included nine fours and two sixes.
