Iran's Supreme Leader Urges Muslim Unity Amid Rising Tensions
Call for Cooperation Among Muslim Nations
On Tuesday, Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, Iran's Supreme Leader, urged Muslim countries to enhance their collaboration with Tehran to tackle the challenges confronting the Islamic community. In a message shared on X during the annual Hajj season, Khamenei adopted a conciliatory approach, encouraging Islamic nations to unite for regional stability and the progress of the Muslim community. He expressed, "With sincerity and pure intentions, I invite all Islamic nations and governments to friendship and cooperation, so that together we can advance the Islamic Ummah and resolve the issues facing the Islamic world."

Khamenei's Strong Words Against the US and Israel
This statement follows a stern warning directed at Washington after escalating tensions in the Persian Gulf. Khamenei asserted that regional territories would no longer serve as protective zones for US military bases, declaring that America would not have a "safe haven for mischief" anymore. He stated, "The hand of time does not turn back, and the nations and lands of the region will no longer serve as shields for American bases."
In homage to his predecessor, the late Ali Khamenei, Mojtaba emphasized that Iran's strategic capabilities have experienced a revival since the leadership transition earlier this year. He remarked, "The weapon of God is great; it has granted such strength to the Iranian nation that, following the martyrdom of the great leader, it found divine resurrection."
Addressing Washington and its key regional ally, Khamenei praised the readiness of Iran's military forces, including the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). He stated, "The brave mujahideen and self-sacrificing armed forces, trusting in the Divine Lord, have hurled their weapons at the Great Satan, namely America, and its trained beast, the Zionist regime, witnessing the fulfillment of God's promise of victory to His warriors."
He further claimed that the geopolitical clock was ticking for Tel Aviv, alluding to a historical prediction about Israel's longevity. He stated, "The shaky Zionist regime and the cancerous tumor of Israel are nearing their cursed demise, and by God's grace, it shall not see twenty-five years from now, God willing."
Khamenei concluded by asserting that Iran had dealt a "harsh slap to the aggressor America" and thwarted its attempts to force Iran into submission. These comments come in the wake of recent US military strikes targeting Iranian missile launch sites and maritime vessels near the strategic Strait of Hormuz, which the Pentagon justified as acts of "self-defense," despite the risk of escalating hostilities.
