Khamenei's Address Following Ceasefire

On Thursday, Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei addressed the nation, celebrating what he described as a victory over Israel. He asserted that Iran's actions compelled the United States to engage in the conflict, suggesting that without Iran's intervention, the Israeli regime would have faced total destruction. This statement came during a televised interaction with the Iranian populace after a ceasefire was established between Iran and Israel.

Khamenei stated, "I extend my congratulations on our beloved Iran's triumph over the US regime. The US intervened directly in the conflict, fearing that the Zionist regime would be entirely obliterated. Their involvement aimed to rescue that regime, yet they accomplished nothing."

He emphasized that Iranian forces delivered a significant blow to the United States during the conflict, specifically mentioning an attack on the Al-Udeid Air Base.

In a post on X, he remarked, "The Islamic Republic dealt a severe blow to the US. It targeted and caused damage to the Al-Udeid Air Base, a crucial US facility in the region."

Khamenei issued a stern warning to adversaries, stating that any future aggression against Iran would come at a steep cost.

He further noted on X, "The Islamic Republic's ability to access key US installations in the region and act as deemed necessary is a crucial point. Such actions can be repeated in the future. If any aggression occurs, the enemy will undoubtedly face severe consequences."
