Previous Attack on Oil Tanker

According to a report from Oman's maritime security center, the oil tanker MKD VYOM, registered under the Marshall Islands, was attacked by an unmanned vessel approximately 52 nautical miles from Muscat. The tanker was transporting around 59,463 metric tons of cargo. The attack led to a fire and explosion in the engine room, resulting in the death of one crew member, an Indian national.
