In a post on Truth Social, Trump stated, "Based on discussions with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir of Pakistan, I have decided to hold off on the military action planned for tonight against Iran, contingent upon Iran's agreement to fully and safely reopen the Strait of Hormuz."
