Iran-Linked Hacker Group Claims to Have Breached Israeli Military Devices

In Washington, a hacker group associated with Iran, known as the Handala group, has asserted that it successfully hacked into the devices of former Israeli army chief Herzi Halevi.

The group claims to have infiltrated the systems quietly for several years, during which it amassed thousands of photos and videos. They reportedly gained access to sensitive information regarding Israel's secret meetings, military locations, and other critical internal details.

Some of the leaked images and videos show Halevi visiting various military bases, attending meetings, and conversing with officials. Additionally, there are personal images, including family photos and identification documents.

The leaks reveal previously undisclosed meetings, including those held in Jordan and Qatar. However, there has been no official response from either the Israeli army or Halevi regarding these allegations.

On Wednesday, the Israeli military launched an attack in Lebanon using hundreds of missiles, resulting in the deaths of 254 individuals. According to the Lebanese Civil Defense Agency, at least 1,165 people were injured in this airstrike, prompting the declaration of national mourning in the country.
