Iran Claims to Uncover Mossad-Linked Drone Manufacturing Facility

Iran's Allegations Against Mossad

Iranian officials have announced the dismantling of a drone manufacturing facility allegedly operated by the Israeli intelligence agency, Mossad, in Tehran, as reported by a local news agency. Authorities apprehended two suspects believed to be affiliated with Mossad during separate operations in Tehran and Alborz provinces.

Saeed Montazer al-Mahdi, the spokesperson for Iran's Police Command, confirmed that the arrests took place in the Fashafuyeh district of Ray County, located south of Tehran.

During the operations, law enforcement seized over 200 kilograms of explosives, parts for 23 drones, launchers, and various technical equipment from the suspects.

Additionally, a Nissan pickup truck, suspected to have been used for transporting these materials, was confiscated.

Iranian officials have accused Mossad agents of attempting sabotage within the country, including the use of small explosive-laden drones aimed at critical infrastructure.

These arrests follow a series of unprecedented airstrikes by Israel on June 13, which targeted residential neighborhoods in Tehran and other cities.

In retaliation, Iran has conducted missile and drone strikes against Israeli locations, including Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and Haifa. Reports indicate that daily life in parts of Israel has been severely disrupted, with many residents seeking shelter in bomb-proof facilities.
