Launch of the International Tiger Marathon

On Wednesday, Union Minister Bhupender Yadav and actor Randeep Hooda unveiled the medals and T-shirts for the upcoming International Tiger Marathon, scheduled for February 8 in Alwar. Yadav emphasized that the marathon aims to raise awareness about tiger conservation and environmental protection.


According to the minister, the event is expected to attract over 25,000 participants, including a significant number of international guests, as well as youth, children, and senior citizens.


Hooda expressed pride in Alwar hosting the world's first marathon dedicated to tiger conservation. He noted that Sariska is the only tiger sanctuary in the NCR region, and this event will promote both fitness and wildlife conservation. The actor also mentioned that runners from countries like South Africa, Kenya, and Ethiopia will participate, putting Alwar on the international sports map.
