Today, we share the inspiring story of a young woman who refused to let her physical challenges hinder her dreams, ultimately becoming a social media sensation. Notably, she even receives letters from the legendary Amitabh Bachchan.

Meet Vandana from Rajkot

Hailing from Rajkot, Gujarat, Vandana is a differently-abled individual who actively participates in society just like anyone else. A devoted fan of Amitabh Bachchan, she frequently writes to him, and the Bachchan family responds to her letters. Amitabh himself has taken the time to write back to Vandana, expressing admiration for her resilience and efforts.

Vandana's Physical Challenges

Despite having 80% of her body non-functional, Vandana runs a photocopy shop in Jetpur, Rajkot, supporting herself independently. She operates a computer using her feet and provides photocopying services to her customers. Remarkably, she manages to use her feet for various devices, including mobile phones, televisions, laptops, and photocopy machines, with her mother assisting her when needed. Vandana has completed her Bachelor of Commerce degree.

Support from Her Mother

Vandana attributes her success to her mother's unwavering support. Her mother has always been there for her, enabling Vandana to take charge of her life and responsibilities through her photocopy business. Establishing her identity in society was challenging, but her mother's encouragement has been pivotal in helping her lead a fulfilling life.

Amitabh Bachchan: Vandana's Idol

Vandana's mother shares that her daughter is a huge fan of Amitabh Bachchan, which motivates her to write letters to him, often receiving replies in return. Vandana once waited for hours in the sun just to catch a glimpse of him and fainted from exhaustion. Her mother reveals that Vandana dreams of meeting Amitabh Bachchan at least once in her lifetime, as she cherishes all memorabilia associated with him.
