Ananya Reddy's Academic Background
Hailing from Mahbubnagar in Telangana, Ananya Reddy achieved an impressive All India third rank in the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2023. Her two-year dedicated preparation culminated in this success during her first attempt, where she scored a total of 1065 marks—875 in the written portion and 190 in the interview.
Educational Journey
Ananya completed her graduation at Miranda House, Delhi, majoring in Geography while also possessing a solid grasp of Economics. Interestingly, she opted for Anthropology as her optional subject instead of Geography or Economics. During her UPSC preparation in Delhi, she resided in a rented accommodation and attended coaching classes, but prioritized self-study. Ananya dedicated 12 to 14 hours daily to her studies, extending her hours as the exam approached.

Ananya draws inspiration from renowned cricketer Virat Kohli. In a recent interview, she expressed, 'Virat Kohli is my favorite player, and his relentless spirit and discipline inspire me.' To maintain a balance during her UPSC preparation, she enjoyed reading novels and watching cricket.
