Indore, June 5, 2026: The 34th Annual Environmental Discussion Week concluded with a grand ceremony at the Jimmy Magilligan Center for Sustainable Development in Sanawadiya village, coinciding with World Environment Day 2026. The event saw a significant turnout of youth, educators, environmental experts, and social activists, all pledging to commit to environmental conservation and climate action.


Opening Ceremony and Cultural Performance

The event commenced with a conch shell blowing and prayer led by Jivansh Batra. Following this, a captivating Kathak dance performance by Nitya Batra enchanted the audience, effectively illustrating the deep connection between nature and humanity while conveying a message of harmonious living with the environment.


Environmental Dialogue and Report Presentation

The founder of the program, Dr. Janak Palta Magilligan, welcomed all participants and presented a comprehensive report on the environmental dialogues held throughout the week. She highlighted the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the history of World Environment Day, and the urgent need for climate action in the current era.
