Indians have always been known for their knack for innovation, especially when it comes to creating solutions out of necessity. A prime example is Makbul Sheikh, a farmer from Latur, Maharashtra, who ingeniously converted a bullet bike into a tractor due to financial constraints preventing him from purchasing a traditional tractor. His innovative approach has gained significant attention, attracting farmers from far and wide who wish to have their own bullet tractors made.

In addition to being a farmer, Makbul is also an automobile expert. He is well-known in his village for quickly repairing vehicles whenever someone faces issues. This expertise enabled him to develop an affordable tractor that benefits less privileged farmers.

Makbul explains that the cost of a conventional tractor ranges from 9 to 10 lakh rupees, making it unaffordable for many poor or middle-class farmers. Having faced similar challenges himself, he came up with the idea of a bullet tractor, which is significantly cheaper, costing around 1.5 lakh rupees.
