In an official statement, IndiGo confirmed, “Flight 6E 5009, which was scheduled to operate from Patna to Delhi on July 9, 2025, returned to Patna following a bird strike incident. The flight has been canceled for the day due to the need for essential inspections and maintenance on the aircraft.”
