Due to significant delays and cancellations affecting multiple IndiGo flights, air travel has faced considerable disruptions. On Saturday, BJP MP Manoj Tiwari stated that the situation is gradually improving and assured that normal flight operations would resume in the coming days. Speaking to reporters in the national capital, Tiwari mentioned, 'I indicated yesterday that we would receive positive news within 24 hours. That positive news has arrived. There has been a slight improvement today. Flights will return to normal in 2-3 days.' He expressed confidence that airlines and aviation officials are working diligently to restore regular flight services as soon as possible.
Passengers Face Long Waits Amid Operational Issues
Following technical and operational challenges within IndiGo's flight network, passengers at major airports, including Delhi, have encountered long queues and extended waiting times. Aviation authorities have stated that efforts are ongoing to stabilize flight schedules and accommodate stranded travelers. Tiwari, who was in Delhi to commemorate the 70th Mahaparinirvan Day of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, also spoke about the enduring legacy of the principal architect of the Indian Constitution. On the occasion of Ambedkar's death anniversary, he remarked that the nation continues to draw strength from his philosophy.

Tiwari emphasized that Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar was a figure who guided the oppressed society, and following his path empowers the community. He was instrumental in drafting the Constitution, which has paved the way for the country's development. Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute in Parliament, marking the beginning of an official memorial ceremony with a grand floral tribute. During the morning homage, President Droupadi Murmu, Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju, and several MPs were present.
