Military analyst Tom Cooper has expressed significant concerns regarding the security of Pakistan's nuclear arsenal, suggesting that recent events have intensified doubts about the country's capability to manage its nuclear infrastructure. His comments come in light of India's Operation Sindoor and reports of military actions near suspected nuclear sites in Pakistan.
Cooper remarked, 'India has a comprehensive understanding of the situation there. The conflict subsided after India targeted two entrances to one of Pakistan's underground facilities, which is believed to be nuclear in nature,' addressing inquiries about potential damage to nuclear sites, despite Indian officials denying any such strikes.

He highlighted Defence Minister Rajnath Singh's recent statements questioning the safety protocols surrounding Pakistan's nuclear command. 'Singh's assertion that Pakistan's ability to manage nuclear weapons is questionable is not a new concern. This sentiment has been echoed by numerous nuclear scientists, indicating that the situation remains unchanged,' Cooper stated.
Furthermore, he emphasized that India's intelligence and strategic capabilities are actively monitoring Pakistani military movements, reinforcing the operational freedom of Indian armed forces within Pakistani territory.
