Kartik noted, "From a spin perspective, this series is vital. Jadeja has been a stalwart for Indian cricket, but with his career winding down, Suthar's performance is encouraging for traditional spin enthusiasts."
Kuldeep Yadav's Role in the Spin Leadership
Kartik acknowledged Kuldeep Yadav's potential as a match-winner but pointed out that he has not consistently played in Test matches. He remarked on the uncertainty surrounding Kuldeep's future as a spin leader, especially with Jadeja's career in its twilight. "Kuldeep has faced challenges under previous captains and coaches, and his absence in crucial matches raises questions about his role moving forward," Kartik stated.
