Strengthening India-Bahrain Relations
In light of the rapidly evolving political landscape in West Asia, India's External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar has arrived in Bahrain as part of his four-nation Gulf tour. On Monday, he engaged in discussions with Bahrain's ruler, King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa. This high-level meeting focused on enhancing the historical bilateral partnership and exploring new avenues for cooperation between the two nations.

Jaishankar's visit to Bahrain follows his time in Qatar, as part of a tour scheduled from July 5 to July 10, which also includes Kuwait and Oman. He expressed his gratitude on social media, stating, 'I felt honored to meet King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and was privileged to also meet Crown Prince and Prime Minister Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.' He conveyed greetings from President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the Bahraini monarch.
Focus on Indian Community Welfare
