Diplomatic Engagement Between India and the U.S.

On Saturday, Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar engaged in a conversation with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, emphasizing that India's stance has consistently been balanced and responsible, a principle that will continue in the future.


This dialogue took place during a period of heightened tensions, as both Indian and Pakistani military forces have been targeting each other's positions, escalating an already serious conflict between the two nations.


In a social media update, Jaishankar stated, “I spoke with U.S. Secretary of State Rubio this morning. India’s approach has always been balanced and responsible, and it will remain so moving forward.”
