On Tuesday, Mansukh Mandaviya, the Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, honored the Indian women's cricket team at his residence following their remarkable achievement in the inaugural Blind Twenty20 World Cup, as reported by SAI Media.
Unprecedented Victory
The Indian women's squad triumphed over Nepal by seven wickets in the final match held in Colombo, Sri Lanka, on Sunday, completing the tournament without a single loss. This competition included six teams: India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Australia, and the USA. This victory for the blind cricket team comes shortly after the Indian women's team celebrated their first ICC Cricket World Cup win on home soil.

Mandaviya expressed his admiration for the blind cricketers, stating, "The Indian women's blind cricket team has made our nation proud. Their success serves as a significant inspiration for specially-abled athletes and anyone aspiring to bring honor to the country.
