He confirmed that all 14 clubs have agreed to participate in this season's league.

AIFF Emergency Meeting on ISL

Recently, the All India Football Federation (AIFF) convened an Emergency Committee meeting to discuss the upcoming ISL schedule.

During this meeting, the committee reviewed a report from the AIFF-ISL Coordination Committee regarding the league's timeline.

This Coordination Committee was established on December 20, 2025, following discussions in the AIFF Executive Committee and the Annual General Meeting.

The committee was tasked with delivering its findings to the AIFF Secretariat by January 2, which they successfully completed.

The AIFF Emergency Committee officially recognized the report and recommended that the league be conducted.
