Meeting with External Affairs Minister

A multi-party delegation led by JD(U) MP Sanjay Jha recently met with External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar in Delhi after their tour of Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Indonesia, and Malaysia. Following the meeting, Jha shared that they provided feedback on their experiences during the five-nation visit, emphasizing the ongoing issue of cross-border terrorism that India has faced for four decades.


Positive Reception from Foreign Nations

Jha noted that the delegation received significant appreciation from the countries visited, particularly for Prime Minister Modi's initiative to send representatives from all political parties. The countries acknowledged the unified stance of India, contrasting it with the Congress party's position. He urged Congress to reflect on whether their rhetoric serves the nation's best interests.


Focus on Terrorism and Diplomatic Efforts

The delegation, which includes around 50 members from various political parties and former diplomats, is in the final stages of their visits to 33 capitals and the European Union, aiming to inform them about India's stance following the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam and military conflicts with Pakistan. India has reiterated its zero-tolerance policy towards terrorism, making it clear that it will continue to punish terrorists and their sponsors if attacks occur on its soil. Upon returning, the delegation will brief the government on key insights from their diplomatic missions.

The delegation is led by notable political figures including BJP MPs Ravi Shankar Prasad and Baijayant Panda, Congress's Shashi Tharoor, DMK's Kanimozhi, NCP's Supriya Sule, JD(U)'s Sanjay Jha, and Shiv Sena's Shrikant Shinde.
