Additionally, another segment of the delegation, led by Shiv Sena MP Shrikant Shinde, engaged with UAE officials to reinforce commitments against terrorism. Meeting with Japanese Officials

A multi-party delegation led by JD(U) MP Sanjay Kumar Jha met with Japanese Foreign Minister Takeshi Iwaya in Tokyo to discuss India's global outreach in counter-terrorism efforts and Operation Sindoor. During the meeting, Jha emphasized India's stance on terrorism, which was well-received by Iwaya, who acknowledged the need for action against terrorism and praised India's restraint.


Support for India's Anti-Terrorism Stance

Sanjay Kumar Jha asserted that he supported India's position against terrorism, stressing the necessity to eradicate it. He mentioned that External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar had briefed him on the matter. Jha expressed condolences regarding the Pahalgam attack, insisting that those responsible for such acts must be punished.


Engagement with UAE Officials

In a separate engagement, a multi-party delegation led by Shiv Sena MP Shrikant Shinde met Dr. Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the UAE Federal National Council's Defense, Interior, and Foreign Affairs Committee, in Abu Dhabi. The Indian Embassy in the UAE reported that this delegation also had a significant meeting with Sheikh Nahyan Mubarak Al Nahyan, the UAE Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, reaffirming their commitment to combat terrorism in all its forms. The delegation included BJP MPs such as Bansuri Swaraj, Atul Garg, and others.
