Operation Sindoor employed special precision munitions, successfully destroying nine terror targets in a coordinated strike. The Indian forces targeted four sites in Pakistan, including significant locations in Bahawalpur, Muridke, and Sialkot, while also hitting five targets in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK). This operation was a joint effort by the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force, which mobilized various assets and troops to execute the mission. The selected targets were linked to top leaders of Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), known for their involvement in sponsoring terrorism in India.
This operation marks India's most profound military action within Pakistan's territory since 1971, representing a significant escalation in military engagement in over fifty years.
