The Indian squad finished the rain-affected final with a time of 41.06 seconds, securing third place behind China, who took gold at 40.78 seconds, and Thailand, who earned silver with a time of 40.87 seconds. Animesh Kujur ran the third leg, while Harita Bhadra anchored the team to a podium finish.

In an interview, Gurindervir Singh expressed his excitement about winning the medal and sharing the moment with his family. He emphasized the team's mutual trust and their commitment to executing their strategy flawlessly. "I’m extremely excited. I’ll go home with the medal, see their smiles, and share in their joy. I had faith in my team and myself. We knew that if we gave it our all, we would stand on the podium, and that’s exactly what we did," he stated.

Redemption for Sneha

Sneha shared her happiness about the bronze medal, noting that this race held special significance for her after the women's relay team narrowly missed a medal in the previous day's event. "I am feeling extremely happy, and I can’t express this happiness in words. This race was very important to me. Yesterday, we lost our medal by a fraction of a second, so this medal means a lot to me," she remarked.

Animesh on Overcoming Disappointment

Animesh Kujur expressed his overwhelming joy at winning the medal, stating that he set aside his disappointment from the individual event to focus on the relay. After finishing fifth in the men's 200m final, he said, "I can’t quite put this feeling into words right now. I had been preparing for this competition all year long. I put all of that aside and stepped out today with the sole thought of winning a medal for India, and we finally did it."

Harita Bhadra expressed her delight in winning the bronze medal, highlighting that the team's extensive preparation over the year had paid off. She expressed gratitude to everyone who supported her, stating, "I am very happy. We had been preparing all year for this goal, and I am so happy we could execute it.
