Indian Army Enhances Warfare Strategy with Over 100,000 Drone Operators
A Strategic Leap in Modern Warfare
In response to the evolving nature of modern warfare, the Indian Army has made a significant strategic advancement. The force has established a vast pool of over 100,000 drone operators. This initiative includes the newly formed special unit 'Bhairav', equipped with cutting-edge technology and lethal strike capabilities.
Aerial Surveillance on Enemy Positions
These more than 100,000 personnel have undergone rigorous training not only in flying drones but also in accurately targeting enemy positions, movements, and formations in real combat scenarios. This initiative has been taken in light of the challenges posed by contemporary 'hybrid' warfare, where technology and intelligence are pivotal for success.
Introducing the New 'Bhairav' Special Force
The Bhairav Battalion, established as part of the Army's reorganization, represents this modern transformation. These units have been designed to move away from traditional warfare tactics, adapting to new operational needs and innovative thinking.
The commanding officer of the Bhairav Battalion emphasized the mission's significance, stating, 'The nature of warfare is rapidly changing today. The challenges have become hybrid. To tackle these, we must be fully equipped with modern technology. The Bhairav Battalion has been created with this new mindset and the future needs of warfare in mind.'
