The India U18 Men's Hockey Team wrapped up their four-match series against Australia with a thrilling 3-3 draw at the Udhav Das Mehta (Bhai Ji) Central SAI Centre located in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, on Wednesday. The team concluded the series with one victory, two draws, and one defeat, according to a statement from Hockey India.


Match Highlights: A Rollercoaster of Goals

India kicked off the match with impressive momentum, scoring two quick goals. Karan Gautam opened the scoring by converting a penalty corner in the 10th minute, followed shortly by a field goal from Ben Siddharth in the 14th minute. However, Australia responded fiercely, leveling the score in the second quarter. Jet Johnstone netted two goals (18', 25') to equalize by halftime. After a competitive third quarter, India regained the lead with a field goal from captain Ketan Kushwaha in the 40th minute. Despite their efforts to maintain the lead, Australia managed to equalize again late in the match, with Andrew Faulds scoring a field goal in the 57th minute, just three minutes before the final whistle.
