Qualification for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics
The ISSF World Championships in Doha serves as the first qualification event for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, offering a total of 36 Olympic quota places across 12 individual events. This competition marks India's first opportunity to secure spots for the upcoming Olympics, as shooting did not provide any quota places at the recent Asian Games. Each nation can earn one quota per event, potentially allowing India to secure up to 12 spots.
