India's Strategic Response to Pakistani Aggression

New Delhi: In a decisive move, India has retaliated against Pakistan's ongoing drone and missile assaults by targeting eight military installations within Pakistan on Friday night, as revealed during a special briefing on 'Operation Sindoor'.

The operation successfully struck six military bases, along with a radar facility and an aviation base, according to a team led by Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, accompanied by Colonel Sofiya Qureshi and Wing Commander Vyomika Singh.

The targeted Pakistani military bases included Rafiqui, Murid, Chaklala, Rahim Yar Khan, Sukkur, and Chunian, utilizing air-launched precision munitions and fighter jets. Additionally, a radar site in Pasrur and an aviation base in Sialkot were also hit with precision strikes. Wing Commander Vyomika Singh emphasized that these operations were conducted with minimal collateral damage.

She explained that the Indian armed forces executed these retaliatory strikes on technical installations, command centers, radar sites, and arms depots in response to Pakistan's deliberate attacks on Indian air bases the previous night.

The team acknowledged that Pakistan had targeted Indian bases in Udhampur, Pathankot, and Bathinda but downplayed reports of significant damage.

To counter Pakistan's claims, Wing Commander Vyomika Singh presented timestamped images of the military facilities.

The special team, led by the Foreign Secretary, also highlighted Pakistan's role as a haven for terrorists and its attempts to escalate tensions. They noted that there is substantial evidence of Pakistan mobilizing troops to border regions.

Wing Commander Singh remarked, "The Pakistani military has been observed moving troops into forward positions, suggesting an offensive posture to further escalate the situation. The Indian armed forces are on high alert and have effectively countered all hostile actions."
