The government announced that over 290,000 new PNG connections were established in March. There is a strong emphasis on connecting hotels, dhabas, and canteens to PNG. According to the Petroleum and Natural Gas Ministry, 6,000 PNG users have surrendered their LPG connections. Neeraj Mittal, Secretary of the Ministry, shared this information on 'X', stating that by March 25, these users had opted to give up their LPG connections.
