The women's team narrowly won against Iran with a score of 37-34, successfully defending their title, while the men's team staged a comeback in the second half to clinch a 40-34 victory, marking their ninth gold in this sport at the Asian Games.

Women's Final: A Hard-Fought Title Defence

The women's final was a tightly contested match, contrasting with India's earlier matches in the tournament. India managed to secure 26 out points compared to Iran's 21, but Iran's bonus points kept the match competitive, with Iran earning eight bonus points to India's six.

First Half Action

In the first half, India led 22-16, capitalizing on 16 out points, three bonus points, and one All-Out. Despite Iran's seven bonus points, they couldn't convert this into a lead before halftime.

Second Half Thriller

After the break, Iran surged back, outscoring India 18-15 and narrowing the gap to just one point at 27-26. However, India regained control with a pivotal super raid by Sanju Devi, followed by an All-Out from captain Pushpa Rana. Pooja extended the lead, and despite Iran's efforts, India held on to win.
