On Wednesday, the Indian government announced that a Pakistani official stationed at the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi has been declared persona non grata. This decision was made due to the official's involvement in activities inconsistent with his diplomatic status in India. He has been instructed to exit the country within a 24-hour timeframe.
Demarche Issued to Pakistan High Commission
The Charge d’Affaires of the Pakistan High Commission received a formal demarche regarding this matter. The Pakistani diplomats and officials in India have been warned to refrain from misusing their diplomatic privileges.
The Government of India has declared a Pakistani official, working at the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi, persona non grata for indulging in activities not in keeping with his official status in India. The official has been asked to leave India within 24 hours.

Previously, on May 13, another Pakistani official at the same mission was also declared persona non grata for similar reasons, as confirmed by the Ministry of External Affairs.
This individual was also instructed to leave India within 24 hours.

An official statement from the Ministry of External Affairs reiterated, "The Government of India has declared a Pakistani official, working at the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi, persona non grata for indulging in activities not in keeping with his official status in India. The official has been asked to leave India within 24 hours. Charge d’Affaires, Pakistan High Commission, was issued a demarche to this effect today." This information was also shared by MEA Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal on social media.
