India's Strong Response to Pakistan at the UN

On Friday, India criticized Pakistan, highlighting the long history of terrorist attacks sponsored by Pakistan that have affected India across the Line of Control (LoC) and international borders.

During an Open Debate at the UN Security Council focused on emerging threats and the protection of civilians, India's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Harish P., addressed the assembly.

He remarked, "I must respond to the unfounded claims made by the Pakistani representative on various matters. India has endured years of terrorist assaults backed by Pakistan across our borders. For such a nation to engage in discussions about civilian protection is an insult to the global community. A country that fails to differentiate between terrorists and civilians lacks the authority to advocate for civilian safety. Earlier this month, the Pakistani military intentionally shelled our border villages, resulting in over 20 civilian deaths and more than 80 injuries. They targeted places of worship, including gurudwaras, temples, and medical facilities. To lecture this body after such actions is profoundly hypocritical."
