India Condemns OIC's Stance on Pahalgam Terror Attack: A Diplomatic Dispute Unfolds

India's Strong Response to OIC's Statement

New Delhi: On Tuesday, India expressed its discontent with the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) for its refusal to acknowledge the cross-border connections related to the recent Pahalgam terror attack.

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) criticized the OIC's remarks regarding the incident, labeling them as 'absurd' and asserting that they were influenced by Pakistan.

MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal stated, 'The OIC's statement, made under Pakistan's influence, is absurd as it disregards the realities surrounding the Pahalgam terrorist attack and its cross-border ties.'

'This is yet another instance of Pakistan, a nation notorious for its involvement in cross-border terrorism, attempting to manipulate the OIC to issue a statement that serves its own interests,' he added.

'We firmly reject the OIC's interference in India's internal affairs,' Jaiswal concluded.
