Understanding Achieved Between India and Pakistan


New Delhi: On Saturday, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar announced that India and Pakistan have come to an agreement to cease firing and military operations.


This development follows India's recent Operation Sindoor, which targeted nine terrorist facilities in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied-Kashmir as a response to the Pahalgam attack.


In the aftermath of this operation, Pakistan attempted to strike various Indian military sites, prompting retaliatory actions from India.


Jaishankar shared the news via social media, stating, "India and Pakistan have today worked out an understanding on stoppage of firing and military action."


He emphasized that India remains steadfast in its strong and unwavering position against terrorism in all its forms and will continue to uphold this stance.
