Strengthening Ties Against Terrorism
To highlight India's firm stance against terrorism, a bipartisan delegation engaged with various French leaders and think tanks, presenting their views on the global stage. Led by BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad, the delegation concluded its visit to France on Tuesday, where they informed French lawmakers and officials about India's resolute position on combating terrorism.
France Reiterates Support for India
On the same day, France reaffirmed its solidarity with India in the fight against terrorism emanating from Pakistan. The need for the democratic world to speak with one voice on this issue was emphasized. Ravi Shankar Prasad made these remarks at the conclusion of the delegation's visit to Paris, which included representatives from the India-France Friendship Group in the French Senate, as well as members of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee at the grand Luxembourg Palace.
A Unified Front Against Pakistan-Supported Terrorism
Prasad told reporters, "In this grand building, all Senate colleagues have only one message: we stand with India in the fight against terrorism." He noted that there was unanimous agreement that France, India, and the entire democratic world must unite in their stance against terrorism supported by Pakistan. The delegation expressed its gratitude for the support received from French lawmakers.
