Launch of the STEM Lab

On Friday, Delhi's Education Minister Ashish Sood, alongside Shikhar Dhawan, Chairperson of Da One Group, officially opened a cutting-edge STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) Lab at CM Shri School in Janakpuri. This initiative is part of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, celebrating 25 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's public service and aiming to engage citizens in the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047.


Expansion of Technology-Enabled Learning

The establishment of the STEM Lab is a key component of the Shikhar Dhawan Foundation's STEM Shiksha initiative, which aims to enhance technology-driven education across Delhi's government schools. According to a press release from the Foundation, this lab represents a significant step in expanding the Digital Shiksha program, providing dedicated spaces for students to engage in hands-on learning and experimentation.


Government's Vision for Education

Ashish Sood emphasized the Delhi government's commitment to advancing education through technology. He stated, "Under Chief Minister Rekha Gupta's leadership, we are dedicated to creating innovative and future-ready educational opportunities for children in government schools. The introduction of STEM Labs is crucial, allowing students to learn through practical experiences rather than just textbooks. It is heartening to see our vision from the initial STEM Lab launch in August materialize further with this new facility at CM Shri School."

Shikhar Dhawan expressed his enthusiasm for the initiative's growth, stating, "The Shikhar Dhawan Foundation is thrilled to see STEM Shiksha expand to more schools in Delhi.
