Imran Hashmi's Comeback in 'Awarapan'

On August 6, in Mumbai, actor Imran Hashmi is set to reprise his role as Shivam Pandit in the sequel to the film 'Awarapan', nearly two decades after its original release. The trailer for the film was unveiled by Special Films on Wednesday, showcasing Shivam's return, altered by age and circumstances, as he embarks on a mission of vengeance while confronting the consequences of his past.

In this film, Imran Hashmi takes center stage once again, with Disha Patani portraying the character 'Zara'. Veteran actress Shabana Azmi will play the role of 'Nafeesa'. The cast also includes Puran Gabbi (as Jorawar), Anirudh Rawal (as Sikandar), Surendra Vicky (as Jaydeep), Vijayant Kohli (as Mahmood), and Atul Kumar (as Samarth) in significant roles.

The music for the film is composed by Mithun, Jeet Ganguly, Amal Malik, Ankit Sachdeva, and Wasif Ahmed, while the lyrics are penned by Saeed Quadri, Rashmi Virag, Akhil Sachdeva, and Sachin Singh Chandel. The film is scheduled to hit theaters across the country on August 14.
