The Chairman of the Himachal Pradesh School Education Board (HPBOSE), Dr. Rajesh Sharma, has released an important advisory for those taking the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) in Dharamshala. Coinciding with this event, an international one-day cricket match between India and Afghanistan is scheduled, which is likely to lead to significant traffic delays in the area.
The TGT (Arts) TET exam is set for June 13, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM, while the TGT (Medical) TET exam will occur later that day from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM.
Candidates assigned to exam centers along the Dharamshala route, including Government Senior Secondary School (Girls), Dharamshala; Government Senior Secondary School, Matour; Government Senior Secondary School, Shahpur; and Government Senior Secondary School, Dari, are advised to plan their journeys ahead of time. To minimize any potential issues, it is recommended that candidates arrive in Dharamshala the day before the exam if feasible.
Dr. Sharma stressed the importance of arriving at exam centers well in advance of the start time, ensuring that candidates bring their admit cards and valid ID. This advisory aims to facilitate a smooth experience for all candidates on exam day.
Wishing all candidates the best, the HPBOSE Chairman encouraged strict adherence to the examination protocols.
